A few months ago, ColorOS 6.0 update on Realme 1 phone was showing ads at some places. The company said it was only visible in the beta update, the ads would be removed later. This time, however, the company has confirmed that ads will appear on their phones. Meanwhile, the company is calling it a 'Commercial Content Recondition' for not advertising it. Users will see the add on preloaded system app and security check page. The company said it could not be shut down even if desired.
