The stolen mobile can be easily found, the government launched this service

It was much easier to find a stolen, lost or stolen mobile phone.  Union Minister for Communication, Electronics and Information Technology, Robi Shankar Prasad, on Monday launched a new portal with the lieutenant governor, Anil Bijal.  In this portal, people of Delhi-NCR can file a complaint directly if the mobile is stolen or lost.  People can also block their number by visiting the official website.

After blocking a phone by going to the portal, that phone will not work in any telecom circle or network of any telecom company in the country.  The government's move will greatly reduce the incidence of mobile theft.  According to the report, 1.5 million mobile users will benefit from this service.  Contextually, this service was first launched in Mumbai.  It is expected that this service will be launched in different regions of the country.

During the launch of the portal, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that now if the mobile is lost or stolen, people of Delhi NCR can file a complaint by visiting the site https://www.ceir.gov.in.  However, they also have to file a complaint with the police.  Telecom Secretary Anshu revealed that if the stolen mobile is used in any corner of the country through this portal, its location will be known and it can be tracked.  With which the police can easily find the mobile.

All the phone information is available in this new portal of the telecommunications department.  Here the phones are White, Gray and Blacklisted.  You can use the phone number of the White IMEI number in this list.  Gray list devices can be monitored.  Blacklist IMEI number devices may not be used again.  Blacklisted devices will not be connected to the mobile network.

If the mobile phone is lost or stolen, the user will have to make an FIR.  DoT has launched a helpline number 122 for this.  The department will blacklist the device following a police complaint.
