ISRO TO LAUNCH EARTH OBSERVATION SATELLITES, 30 OTHERS ABOARD PSLV ON 29 NOVEMBER
India will launch on Thursday its earth observation satellite and 30 small satellites from eight countries, the country's space agency said on Tuesday.
According to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle Core Alone variant (PSLV-CA) will fly with the 380 kg Hyper Spectral Imaging Satellite and 30 others together weighing 261.5 kg.
The PSLV rocket is a four-stage launch vehicle with alternating solid and liquid stages and engines.
The entire mission will be completed in just 112 minutes after the rocket's liftoff.
